I am using the 2D electrostatic module and used the Remanenet electric displacement option for the form of the constitutive equations.
D=Dr+Eo*Er*E
Dr is the Remanenet electric displacement
Eo is the permitivity and
Er is the relative permitivity and
E is the electric field.
The form of the remananenet electric displacement( Dr) I have is only in the Z direction. i.e Dr=(0, 0, drz)., only along Z direction. I inserted additional weak formulations to have electric field in the Z direction and got Ez but the potential is zero.
So my problem is how to calculate the potential from the Remanenet electric displacement in Z direction and also incorporating the electric field I got ,Ez in 2D Electrostatic module ?
